A Simple Life, Big Dreams & a Lot of French

“Born and brought up in vibrant Mumbai, I’ve spent the last 20 years teaching French to students across different boards, ages, and cities.

I’ve taught over 1,000 students and worked for a decade with the French community at the Consulate General of France in Bombay—experiences that shaped the way I teach today: structured, supportive and full of heart.

I love to travel, explore new places, and learn something new every day. And of course, I have a never-ending love story with the French language.”

Dreaming of a better job or a better life in a French-speaking country? You’re exactly where you need to be.

I Wasn’t Born Speaking French…

It took me years to understand, learn, and eventually master French—back when there was no internet and every small doubt meant long hours of searching in books and dictionaries.

All the trial and error I went through—as a student and then as a young teacher—has now become clear structures and methods that I use to help you learn faster and easier.

From my first “coup de foudre” with French in school…
— to studying at Alliance Française de Bombay
— to teaching school kids from my home…
— to working at the French Consulate in different roles…
— to becoming a Reiki practitioner and a mother of two…
every phase has shaped how I understand language, people, and learning.

My Journey

Consulate Experience

From the Classroom to the French Consulate

At the Consulat général de France à Bombay, I worked in roles that demanded both language and people skills:

Stepping Back, Growing Within, and Returning to My Purpose

After years of work, I felt called to spend more time with my children and focus on self-development. That’s when Reiki entered my life, and I’ve now been a Reiki practitioner for 7 years.

I’m deeply blessed to be surrounded by people—especially my husband and my mother—who not only love me but constantly encourage me to grow and excel. Their support nudged me back into what I truly love: teaching French.

My Philosophy & Vision for You

Passion, Purpose & Your Journey

Like the quote says,

“If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion… your passion will lead you right into your purpose.”

My passion is the French language.

My purpose is to help you:

  • fall in love with it,
  • gain confidence in using it, and
  • make it a meaningful part of your life—whether for your dream job, city, or country.
Nothing makes me happier than watching students immerse themselves in French with joy and curiosity. I give you the structures and methods you need; you bring your interest and effort. Together, we create results that speak for themselves.

Dream. Believe. Do. Repeat.

I always dreamed of speaking French like a native—understanding, expressing, reading with ease.
Today, when French natives ask how I mastered their language, I feel deeply grateful for the journey… which still continues.

Now, I’d love for you to embark on your own French voyage—with me as your guide.
